• • Writing: This section comprises two distinct writing tasks, each designed to assess a different facet of written English communication. Task 1 requires the test taker to analyse and present visual information clearly and concisely. This visual information may include graphs, charts, diagrams, or tables. The task might involve summarising the data, describing the key features, or explaining the trends and relationships depicted within the visuals.IELTS Writing Task 2 comprises essay writing, presenting the test taker with a thought-provoking prompt that invites analysis, argumentation, or expression of personal opinion. The candidate’s ability to formulate a clear thesis statement, organise supporting arguments coherently, and use appropriate vocabulary and grammar will be evaluated in this section.
• Speaking: In this section, individuals are required to speak on the impromptu topics that are provided to them. This section entails individuals to sit for face-to-face interviews wherein they are required to come up with well-articulated and comprehensible responses on the spot. The IELTS speaking section assesses an individual’s fluency, vocabulary range, grammatical accuracy, pronunciation, and overall ability to communicate effectively in spoken English.
